Regia Anglorum is a living-history society founded in 1986 to accurately re-create the life of the British people as it was in the one hundred years before the Norman Conquest. Members portray Viking, Anglo-Saxon, Norman and British between 950 and 1066 ce. Members participate in rebated steel combat, living history exhibitions and related activities. A North American branch of the Regia has been founded, and Micel Folcland was given a land grant—the modern States of Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois—in December 2005. It was incorporated as a not-for-profit educational corporation in February of 2007.
We can provide historical reproductions and replicas, dressing in accurate period clothing, erecting accurate tents and lecturing on the Anglo-Scandinavian world prior to the Norman Conquest of 1066. At this point, we are sorry that we cannot offer combat displays.

Charges for Appearances
* Appearance of at least one person for one hour for schools and civic organizations: $50
* Appearance of at least one person for one hour for commercial organizations: $100
* Appearance of two or more members for one hour for schools and other civic organizations: $80
* Appearance of two or more members for one hour for commercial organizations: $160
* Appearance of two or more members at fair or other event for one day or less: $200 plus
amenities to be mutually agreed upon
* Full encampment with two or more members for one to two days: $250 plus amenities to be
mutually agreed upon
An additional travel charge of 25 cents a mile is levied for distances over 30 miles.
All charges are negotiable, and we might not be able to make arrangements because of other or prior arrangements.
